On certain types of animals, such oversight boards are required by federal law organizations to experiment on them. has been notified that such panels are totally charged with ensuring proper animal care and high standards of research.
Now Musk’s company Neuralink’s panel raises questions about potential violations of conflict-of-interest and the panel is aimed totally at the protection of animals and proper care of them. The company is conducting some research on animals for which the company seeks regulatory approvals for human trials of a brain chip which have the intention to help paralyzed people type with their mind.
It is said in a document revealed from the company as nineteen of the board’s 22 members were Neuralink employees as of late 2022.
